What Is This Campaign?
In the spirit of understanding how public attention moves, how people engage with causes, and how digital payments blend with real-world action, SK Software Developers is launching:
The Vijay Mallya Social ExperimentA creative, on-ground public campaign — using posters, QR codes, and transparent donations — to explore how society reacts to intentional, legal, and clearly communicated "asks."
No politics. No endorsements. No clickbait.Only one question: What happens when you ask the public for ₹10… and mean it transparently?
Why the Name?
This campaign is inspired by the cultural conversation around Vijay Mallya — not to judge him, support him, or joke about his past — but because his name sparks curiosity, confusion, and strong opinions.
We are not affiliated with Vijay Mallya in any way.We are simply leveraging a pop-cultural trigger to examine public behavior, attention, and generosity.
Where Does the Money Go?
All payments made through this campaign go directly toward purchasing food for stray dogs in and around our city. We are working with verified vendors and shelters, and we’ll publish full documentation at the end of the campaign.
How It Works:
Posters are placed in public areas where allowed — like cafés, college zones, street poles, and notice boards.
Each poster has a QR Code (via Razorpay/UPI).
People can scan and contribute any small amount (₹1, ₹10, ₹50).
All payments are logged securely. No personal data is collected.
After the campaign ends, SKSD will:
Purchase dog food or make a donation to a shelter
Post all receipts and visual proof on our website
Share the full story of what this campaign uncovered
